Heart & Soul Line Dance has been creating a space for women to grow in dance and friendship for two years here in Bakersfield, and now we want you to join the fun from where you live...VIRTUALLY! Coming in January, our Virtual Workshops will be available for both our Beginner and Intermediate Workshops! We are so excited to have you dance with us....from home!

All Dance Levels Welcome!
Our Virtual Line Dance Workshops are open to women of all ages and all dance levels. There is absolutely NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Lead by award-winning choreographer Mary Pentangelo, she will walk you step by step through each dance. We now have two workshop levels available, so you'll pick the one you want to dance with! BEGINNER LEVEL
You will learn the basics in line dancing using beginner steps and keeping dances easier as you get on your way to mastering those foundational steps.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
It's time to kick your dancing skills up a notch as we start to incorporate those intricate steps, including sycopation, breaks and spins! This workshop will build on those foundational steps taught in our Beginner Workshop.
We created our Heart & Soul Virtual Line Dance Workshops to bring women together from all parts of the country and the world, to share the love of line dancing from Bakersfield and beyond.
HOW IT WORKS
Our workshops will stream live through our Heart & Soul Line Dance YouTube channel. With your Virtual subscription, you will be granted exclusive acces to our Workshops online, not available to the general public! It's a fantastic way to be a part of what Heart & Soul Line Dance represents, women growing together through dance and friendship!
So whether you are brand-new to line dancing or you've been dancing for years and you're ready to join the fun, we will inspire, encourage and empower you to exceed your own perceived limitations and dance with heart and soul! You'll dance with us online and along with our other virtual dancers joining us from home, as well!
Each workshop will have a step-by-step instruction of the dance being taught. You will learn from home live as we go through the dance, but you can also view it later at your convenience. Video recordings of each workshop will be available on YouTube as well as the Workshop Facebook Group page. You'll also be able to ask us questions as we teach to ensure you're understanding each step so you are comfortable, and then each week you'll be encouraged to send us a video of you dancing the dance. We'll put all of our virtual dancers together with our local workshop group in a monthly video recapping our lessons! So fun!
How to Register:
Both the Beginner and the Intermediate Virtual Workshops are $10 per month per workshop, and you will register by following the link below to your preferred Workshop level. Once your registration is complete, you will receive further information on how to join the group pages to make sure you are up to date with your workshop lessons and other information. You'll also get a chance to meet the other Virtual dancers who have joined in the Heart & Soul Line Dance fun, a place where you can encourage and support one another as you grow on your dance journey.
